Reforestation of the Natural Park of the North Coast

Under the Christmas party's program, Construções Europa Ar-Lindo Company (Europa Ar-Lindo Group) organized on the 17th of December, a voluntary activity with its employees.

The initiative occurred in the morning, in the North Coast's Natural Park, in Braga, specifically in the area of the Ofir pine forest.

About 60 employees participated, under the guidance of Prof. Arthur Viana technician in charge of the park, in oaks, willows and alders plantition, in that space. The entire area is a wet area between the pine forest and dunes, is where these species are able to adapt with ease.

Before the activity's start, there was a brief explanation os the activity, in which it was explained the characteristics of the habitat, and the species that would be planted.

This Park, which has one of the highest levels of biodiversity in the country, aims to restore habitat through the eradication of some invasive species, and replacing them with native ones. Therefore, there was satisfaction expressed with the initiative, stating that the employees of Europa Ar-Lindo achieved an excellent opportunity to meet, up close, the characteristics of the local habitat, thus contributing to the protection and promotion of the Environment.
