Construções Europa Ar-Lindo helps LIJ - Frei Gil, in Ramalde

As in previous years, the company Construções Europa Ar-Lindo, SA promoted among its employees, yet another voluntary food collection, donated to the Home for Children and Youth Work of Frei Gil - Ramalde, a group that assists about 35 children and young people, with ages between 5 and 18 years, which has been struggling to continue with the project, due to the current economic situation.

The initiative was from the day 1 December 2013 to 23 January 2014 in the yard of the headquarters of the company, with the enthusiastic participation of many employees, increasingly concerned and aware of this type of activity.

Not only did Europa Ar-Lindo collected the donations, but also delivered them in said institution on January 24.

The Home for Children and Youth ( LIJ ) Work of Frei Gil - Ramalde is one of the social responses of the Society for Social Promotion - Work of Frei Gil, aimed to provide institutional care for long periods of time ( more than 6 months) for children and young people in danger, which are appointed by entities with jurisdiction in the matter of Child Protection (Courts, CPCJ, ISS, etc.).

In addition to the employees assigned to LIJ, the institution also has the support of volunteers involved in the areas of entertainment and leisure time, domestic services and study support, and partnerships with various institutions/services in the surrounding community, that support and direct LIJ indirectly.
